I have the A 1100DX AMPLE (http://www.ampleaudio.com/product3.html) which is capable of 1100 rms. Im looking for a sub or a set of subs to get the full potential of this amp. Curently running two 10" kicker comps at 4ohms, in truck boxs(old kickers).

I would like to add one 10" or 12" to the kickers in a custom box that wouldnt be behind the seat, so i wouldnt be restricted by air space. Power the kickers with a different amp. Or i dont know if it wold be better to replace the kickers? Im worried about being restricted by airspace to go with 2 in truck boxs.

Opinions would be apreciated.

Either get a third Kicker (identical to what you already have) or new subs altogether. You don't want to add a third sub of a different size and/or different brand. Have you tried porting your current subs (if it's output you're after)? If the enclosure is behind the seat, and can't be seen, an external port might be a bit easier to implement. Or, you can just start over and do a "traditional" port.

How much depth/room do you have to work with? Budget?

Im working with a single cab truck, i got around 8" at bottom 6" top. Id like to spend around $200 but $350. I also like deep base, and listen to rap.

how wide can you make the box? could you make a wedge box of external dimensions:

crossection is a right trapezoid of base - 8 inches, height - 12 inches, top - 6 inches, with a width of 46 inches?
