Looking for a sub that will play accurate and tight in a sealed box with very little emphasis on output. Budget is probably around $350. Amp will be pushing out 350w @ 4ohms, 650w @ 2ohms.

Considering the Soundsplinter RL-P 12 (either dual 2ohm or dual 4ohm) and Seas SW300 for now.

I understand the RL-P12 seems to work better in ported applications though. Does anyone have recommendations and/or heard both of the above subs in a sealed box? Which one would sound clean, accurate and tight?

TIA!

IDMAX12 would be an idea.

almost any sub will work.

do you have a limitation on boxvolume? how about powerhandling?

Don't wish for the box to be too large (anything below 1.25' should be fine). No plans on changing my amp so max output would be 350w @ 4ohms.

I am running 7" drivers in doors but am looking for a 10 or 12" that will provide some tight oomph to it. The 12w6v2 seems interesting. I wonder how the RL-P 12" stacks up against them?

throw a rock. there are a series of subwoofers designed to work in 1.25 or less, and with 350, you are ensured the output will match up to the mids without overblowing them.
