Hey I'm thinking of getting some ice. Been thinking of getting a basstube like the jbl BTX250 or pioneer or infinity basslink-T.

Can anyone tell me if this is a good or bad choice... Is a bass tube loud? or a waste of time?

P.S i don't want to loose my boot space!

best advice I can give you is that if you're even remotely serious about car audio...do not EVER refer to it as "ice" again...

I know what it means...and that's why you shouldn't say it. It's incredibly corny. It sounds like a very white person trying to use black slang to sound "cool". It simply doesn't work. ;)

bad choice.... if you want some bass, you can be cool and get 2 10" subs and load them in a single enclosure in an Isobaric form. that will save you some space!

or get some subs and put them in an Inifnite Baffle enclosure....(not really an enclosure)

but he wont really gain any output like that. Acoustic coupling may not be a large enough audible increase to warrant they extra $100 for the sub.
