Rosen Launches Navigation Systems With Guidepoint Services

April 2010 - Rosen Entertainment Systems has formed a strategic marketing alliance with Guidepoint Systems to include a free 90-day trial of the Guidepoint Silver Service Concierge, Roadside Assistance and Emergency Response Service in Rosenís line of in-dash, multimedia navigation systems. The Guidepoint Silver Service includes access to a 24/7/365 manned call center that users of Rosenís Navigation products have access to when their cell phones are paired to the system. By pressing the Guidepoint logo on Rosenís Navigation screen, a user can call for Concierge services (travel and dining reservations, tickets to sporting events, sports scores, directions and more), Roadside Assistance (towing, flat tires, door unlock, gasoline and more up to $50 per service call) and Emergency Response services (police, fire, and medical).

Rosenís in-dash, multimedia navigation systems provide a range of other features: high-definition touch-screen LCD displays; BUS integration (GM, Mazda & VW models); Navigation includes voice and visual turn-by-turn directions, 11 million-plus Points-Of-Interest library, 3D route and building views for major cities, plus 5 language options (English, Spanish, Korean, Japanese and Chinese-Mandarin); can play DVD, CDs and MP3 music files; 6-disc virtual CD changer; supports vehicles steering-wheel controls; dual-zone interface for video playback on optional Rosen AV7550 rear seat slave screens; back-up camera and/or sensor ready; iPod interface; USB port & SD card slot for multimedia playback, SD is model specific); Bluetooth Hands-Free interface w/ A2DP music streaming; AM/FM tuner w/ advanced RDS features; Satellite Radio ready.
