I am getting a cadence A7hc and 2 12"MOMOS. This will be my first settup and I don't know too much about how I would wire them. Would I wire the + from each sub on top of each other on the amp, and each - together on the amp. Please explain

You say it is a mono amp, so wire the speakers in parallel. + of the amp, to the + of the 1st sub, to the + of the 2nd sub. Same on the negative side. Check out www.eatel.net/~pbabin/elecdisc/caraudio.htm
. They have a lot of good information and explanations for beginners. Look at "ohms", "power", and "Series/Parallel".

or if you wanted shorter wires for wiring them in parellel, just run a wire from the + on the amp to a + on a sub. Then from the + on the sub to the + on the other sub and the same for the -'s. Maybee thats what skipper meant but to me it sounded like youd have 4 wires from the amp to your subs when you only need two for parallel. Also this is prefrence, run the + from one sub and the - to the other. I hope I made sense to you. The best thing to do would to go to the web site skipper sayed and see if theirs diagrams.

aarggghhhh!
I forgot your capacitor...
The best (and nearly only) way to determine if you will need a capacitor is to go ahead and set the system up. If your lights blink with the bass and on-coming traffic starts flashing their brights, you know you need a stiffening cap. No need to spend all the extra $$$ if you're not sure you need one yet.
