10 inch subwoofer.. how much cubic feet recommended?

how much space should a 10 inch woofer have?

ok, say a Kicker CVR 10.. would that work in .5 cubic feet? or otherwise what would?

also depends on if you want it sealed, ported, or etc...

Very good sub here in .5ft3 sealed

Here is another for about half the price.(a little less output)

Both subs would be fine with about 300wrms in .5ft3 sealed.

If you want a SPL sub, you don't want small sealed IMO.

makes the box seem bigger by changing the dampening inside the enclosure. you might gain .1-2 ft3 by stuffing your .5 enclosure.
