sandt has the 5 channel. From what I can see, they are good quality. Probably sharing a good bit of internals from the TXA series. Read his review...it's on here.

http://caraudioforum.com/showthread.php?t=315027

I just got my FXA5100 on Friday. I have been using a SQA-4, which is basically a FXA4060. So I went from 200WRMS bridged to 300WRMS bridged. I can give you my view of the SQA-4 and initial on the FXA5100...

The SQA4 definitely puts out rated. I hear no real noise, and it is built very well. Controls are nice, although I wish it had a 24dB crossover, but I can run it off the head.

The FXA5100 showed up Friday, like I said. I was surprised at the weight of the unit, it weighs 17 pounds, and it is 18"X12", so you can tell it is built solid. The body is the aluminum sink, and it is thick. The only plastic on the unit are the end caps and Cadence logo. The logo is backlit by a blue LED. Admittedly the crossover/RCA end of it is laid out rather poorly, like the 5th channel was an aftertought, where the 4 channel SQA-4 was well laid out. I love the 45 degree cable terminations. It definitely puts out rated when bridged, I haven't hooked up the 5th channel yet.

This is another Cadence amp that doesn't disappoint. It is a good looking amp, well designed, and obviously built like a brick $hithouse... but for those of us who have owned Cadence amps, that is expected rather then a surprise.

Yea it put out good power when I had it hooked up. It is now a back up. I had it hooked up to a 12 inch p3 wired to 4 ohms, so only putting out around 300 watts and it got very loud.
