Western Digital?

Okay, so I bought this, which I'm currently using as my main external:

And, I bought this for Time Machine backups:

Is 2.0 that outdated? Should I just return that one, and buy another firewire model, and daisy chain it? eSata is not an option(no port on my macbook).

What would you do?

the question is if daisy chaining will your internal power supply have enoigh juice to power 3 drives?

it may be better to not daisy chain and run one at a time along with the internal.

i am not 100% sure how much energy the other two drives will use if you are spinning up the one external, but i am sure they will use some.

you may want to verify with some actual computer geeks.
