Unhappy Alpine IDA X305 faceplate disassembly

Hello ! I have alpine ida x-305 hu. One button doesnt work. Can anyone tell me how to disassembly that faceplate. I already take 4 screws off but the search knob and volume scroll doesnt come off. How can i disassembly that so i dont break it up

Faceplates can be tricky to disassemble without damage. While I can't say for certain without your faceplate in my hand, the knobs are typically a (tight) press fit and can possibly be gently pried off. A plastic trim tool with a "V" shape inserted between the knob and the outer face may help with disassembly.

There are several vendors that deal in Alpine parts depending on where you are located, but a whole faceplate as well as internal parts for it may be tricky to find seeing as how that unit is now 8-9 years old. A quick search of one vendor shows it as "discontinued." Sometimes faceplates and entire units for parts show up on eBay.
