Exclamation Alpine CDE-147BT iphone pairing issues

I just bought a car with a brand new Alpine CDE-147BT pre-installed.

I went through the directions verbatum from the manual to pair with my iphone 6plus. Every time I get "pairing was unsuccessful" on my iphone.

Both my phone and the receiver are running the latest OS/firmware.

The device list on the receiver is empty, and if I search for my phone from the receiver, it will find my phone, but pairing does nothing and it just returns to the previous screen saying no unit.

I have even tried disabling lte, and turning off other bluetooth connections as well. Nothing is working.

Anyone have any idea how I can get this phone to pair? It shouldn't be this complicated

Have you contacted Alpine?
They are/can be very helpful. I've contacted them in the recent past for some help and they were great.

Have you powered off the iphone and restarted it?

I've power cycled my phone, yes.

I emailed Alpine, I will try calling them as well. Plus my deck is still under warranty, so I will try taking it into the store today to see if they can get it working

After doing everything I can possibly do with Alpine support, I am taking it in to get a hard reset.. Where they take the deck out and drain the power before putting it back. We'll see if that works. Doesn't matter what we do... The stupid thing won't pair with anything.

Anyone have luck with hard resets solving an issue like this?
