Removing '95 Ford Taurus door panels?
Looking to put new speakers into my Taurus, but I can't for the life of me figure out how to get the door panels off!
I took off a handful of screws, all that I could find: -Two on the power door/window controls -One Behind the latch to open the door -One behind the 'Handle' you grab while opening the door from the inside. I searched around here and there should be 7-9 screws. Where else could they be? |

I believe that when I did my sisters taurus it only had like 6 or 7 screws, and that was a 93. Shouldnt be much difference I believe.
Anyways, you got the ones you were talkin bout. Also, there is a covering in the upper left side corner of the door panel, you need to take of that little plastic piece and there should be another screw into there. If my corrections are precise, then all the screws should be out now after that last one. Remember you need to pull up and then out, because there are like plastic "hooks" that are going to go into holes in your door, so that could be causing it not to come out also. You'll probably notice another one or two behind the power window controls. Hopefully this helps, like I said shouldnt be much difference between a 93 and a 95 (hopefully) |

the plastic hooks should just pull right out. dont worry about damaging them they arnt meant to be removable so once they are taken out they need to be replaced with new ones. you can pick them up from an advance auto parts or other auto store. they shouldnt be more then 3 bucks. just try to pull as close to them as you can without bending the rest of the door pannel and they shoudl just pop right out.
