Weak LF speaker

I just finished installing a new amp (Sony XM-ZR704). I used my stock HU, and speakers (which functioned normally before) and wired through the high level input plug.

Everthing works fine, except the left front speaker is really quiet compared to the others. The balance control is set properly (and functions fine with the rears). It occurs with all sources (CD, IPod, radio).

It it a "weak" connection with one of my LF amp/speaker connections, or is the amp "bad, or????????

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

could be either, do some trouble shooting. switch the LF and RF speaker wires on the amp. If the RF starts playing lower then the rest then it's a bad channel on the amp. If the LF continues being the one playing lower then the rest then you have a wiring/installation issue going on somewhere.
