MTX Blue Thunder Legend vs. Thunder 6000
They look very similar...which one is a better sub???
The Blue Thunder looks nicer, but is much older.... thanks |

Does the Blue Thunder Legend have the gray cone? If so, I saw one at circuit city, and it had crappy cone rigidity. You push on it slightly and it bends easily. I don't know how much performance loss you would get from this, if at all audible, but I would get the T6000, the cones on those are much more rigid.

I'm asking this because the Blue Thunder is much cheaper than the 6000, and I have a friend that have a single 8" Blue Thunder in a sealed box and it slams... I couldn't believe that it was a 8"...

no, the gray cone is the Thunder 6000.... and this sub has a very rigid cone...even the 4000 has a rigid cone....
