Sub classes
Here is something that's I never really gotten a clear answer on. What's the advantage of a really high end sub that handles huge power ect. vs. like a middle level sub.
(not sure if this is good example but, here goes) Let's say you have 2 12W0's vs. 1 12W3 (given the the propper power). Are you paying more for better sq or spl or both? Like could you save space by having like 1 eclipse ti or w7 over 2 lesser subs like perfects and still get the same output and sq. Sorry if this has been asked before. |

Sometimes it can be sixes. Other times a higher end sub will have a better sound and with today's huge SPL subs the higher end subs definatly have more output. Sometimes if space is a concern 1 12 w3 may be a better choice than 2 12w0s (just an example). It all depends on what strikes you fancy what type of vehilce and what equipment you decide to use.

here you go.... 1 12w7=193.29 cubic inches of air displacement
2 12w6's=145.2 cubic inches of air displacement so 1 12w7 will out spl 2 12w6's!!! |
