Omg Look At This!!
hope i got your attention, i just had to ask a few questions because omg i am so pissed. today, xmas, i got my new h/u in my car and hooked my system up, only to my disappointment however. i hooked everything up alright, but MY SUBS JUST WONT PLAY RIGHT!!! i dont know if it could be that i took them out of the box a while back and they may have tiny leaks around em now, but when i get in front of the cone and put my ears bout 6 inches away, they seem to sound good. however, they dont get loud and deep from the drivers seat, and ive used x-overs, adjusted bass and sub-levels, and gains on my amp, all in many configurations. im usin a jensen 4 channel in 2 channel mode powering 2 10w0's (if that matters) i heard this system b4 i bought it, when it sounded right...if anybody could help i would really appreciate it..u would seriously make my christmas a good one...also my main problem seems to be that they dont play deep, they dont play loud, and always seem as if theyre like fluttering or distorting....thanks alot u guys in advance i really appreciate it

sounds like your subs are out of phase. Meaning you got one of them hooked up backwards probably.

****, that honda vs viper war was a big one, i still get friggin e-mails "somebody has replied to your post in "dodge viper??"" its a pain in the ***, its all cooled over now, hopefully nobody will bring it back up............

hey guys thanks for all the help, whoever put the terminal connections on the box did one side backwards...thanks alot, i know i might sound stupid...but its my first install..so thanks for the help..merry christmas

yea i bought the system off a friend, i have no clue who built it, or put the subs in the box, but it sounds pretty good now lol
