Ok i have a jeep wrangler sport 2003.... I have a blackpunt head unit. and 2 componet speakers that are in enclosures and are removed when the top is down. What i would like is a Single LARGE box that will go where my back seat is( i remove the back seat all the time.) I was thinking if i could get 2 speakers and 2 subs. Have it so i connect everything to the amp and have all the wires in side the box so when i want to move the box i just pick it up disconnect the wires from the amp and set the whole box out. It is hard to describe but i would like the box to be rectangular that attaches to the floor with unseen by a person looking in. I dont know anything i am talking about. I would like more sound and better bass. i mean at 45 i cant hear the radio with the top on or off. HELP

the box you're describing is possible but difficult, and possibly dangerous. I don't like the idea of connecting and disconnecting power lines frequently. I've owned a couple of jeeps in the past, 80's, and know how you feel. Someone recently designed a sub box that re-creates the back seat of his TJ, and ports the sub under the front of the 'back seat'. It was pretty cool. I could do some digging to look for it. I think it was on ICIX or sounddomain.

check out the audio section at jeepforum.com. they have a few guys there that take some cushion out of the rear seat and install a box right in the seat.
