I bought my son a Orion H2 2500 watt sub and a Kenwood 800 watt amp for Christmas. I bridged the sub but it still does not hit like it should.
Is 800 watts enough to push this sub?

match the rms power of the amp to the rms of the sub. also look into the ohms. in other words if the sub is a 4 ohm dual voice coil and requires 2500 (not likely) watts rms u need a 2 ohm stable 2500 watt rms amp to push the sub to its full potential. do the research on the equipment you have or tell us the model numbers or specs of the equipment. it really depends on what u have and i dont know anything about your equipment. good luck.

from the looks of it you will need up to 2000 watts rms or continuous power from you amp.now depending on how you have the sub wired and if its a dual 2 or 4 ohm will decide if this amp is compatible. i really need the amp info and sub voice coil info.
