I have one Cerwin-vega 124 vega running 160w to it. Is it possible to run a 2 ohm load to it being I only have one? My amp is 55x2, 160x1 bridged, 2 ohm stable. Otherwise I'll be buying a larger amp. Thanx Fatty

No problem. Just make sure your box is optimized for the sub and buy the biggest amp that will fit on your credit card. http://www.audiomarket.com/forum/smile.gif

Actually I have heard of a product that stinger makes called an accu-match. I believe you run it between your amp and speakers. It lets the amp see a constant load, so you can run your amp at 2 ohms with only one speaker. Probably not worth the $200+ price tag. Sell your old amp and use the money to get a bigger amp.
