Is anyone here familiar with installing a sub/amp in a 2004 Galant?
I have the Infinity sound system package (stock).
I have gone through 2 basslink 1's and burned out 3 basslink 2's so far. I have since switched to a 500 watt bazzooka amp, and a kicker 10 square sub. It sounds good for about 30 minutes, but if I turn my radio up more than half way, I keep sending my amp into protect mode. I have been through this with Circuit City (my first mistake) over and over and still can't get this figured out.
If anyone has ran into this problem with this specific model, please help me! I have been through this with several people and all of them say that everything is wired properly. I'm assuming that there is a known issue with this particular model car?
