i am running
2 Kicker s12L7DVCsubs
2 Rockford Fosgate 1001bd (1000 rms to each sub)
Alpine MRP-f240 4ch
Pioneer DEH-P8500MP HU
2 sets pioneer 3-way's
Kicker KQ9 EQ
Stinger cap/ all stinger wiring

originally i just wanted to have the loudest system on the block, but now i think i want to get into competitions, anyone know how many db's i might hit with this setup/ how i would do competing

ill tell you the same thing everyone else told me when i first got my sub... it depends on the car, box, so many factors... the best way to find out what you hit, is to call around to local shops and ask them if they will meter your system and for how much $. i had people laugh at me when i said i wanted to hit near 150 db's with a 13W7, and told me i would be lucky to hit 140, but i hit 147.0 on a dash mounted meter. different cars with the same equipment will hit different levels... go get metered and let me know what you hit... or you can just go to a comp and find out through that

THe fact that your cobalt is blue lowers your dBs about 10 points >smiles<

All the local competitions around here the dB probe is put on the passenger floor board.

Not sure if its everywhere, but dont go by the dash.
