Quality brand cdr discs

I've been using TDK for years, but lately it seems to me the quality
in the construction of the cdr has been lacking. What other brands
hold up well to the elements of living their daily lives in an
automobile environment?

I'm a fan of HP, but not for any real reason, however, they do hold up
well on the passenger floor of my car, so far no cd is scratched enough
to skip since I switched to HP 7 months ago.
