My friends first comp.

My friend has a 1988 Toyota Tercel HB. He only has these sony 6x9's (2)12" JLW0's the MTX 280 amp and these tweeters that were given to him and he hit just shy of 140db(139.8) isn't this respectable for all that he has?

140 is great for 2 10"s. I only hit 138 with 4. That's not what I'm going for but you know, when I was younger... Seriously, thaT's

At the shop I hangout at ( I have no life LOL ) the demo vehicle, a honda crx hits a 147 on the dash outlaw. It has 2 10 punch xlc's with a punch 400.4 ( about 200 watts on the bass) all in all its only about $1200.00 worth of eqipement and $300 instal.
( thats with a goldline metter though, different metters vary)
